Bridge Business Resources owner Kristie McCarthy speaks to a group of attendees about "Employer Danger Zones" at Two Gingers Tavern.
Kristie's presentation covered a lot of territory, all relevant and important info that all employers should keep in mind.
She started off by talking about protected classes of employment, including common mistakes businesses make when crafting employment applications. Then she moved on to the differences between contractors and employees, which lead to several questions and some helpful answers. She covered payroll & time tracking for hourly employees, common errors related to employee safety and incident reporting, and insightful does & don'ts related to employee terminations.
I can honestly say that I learned something from every topic Kristie covered!
