We have 2 great Retirement Communities in Cascade:
Accura Healthcare of Cascade is a 46-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with a 12-bed secure memory care unit located near downtown.They have been proudly serving the Cascade community for over 50 years providing high-quality skilled, long-term, respite, and memory care services to the aging population. Their dedicated staff offer daily routine programming, engaging activities, and therapeutic recreation services all in a home-like setting. The Cascade Chamber would also like to remind everyone that Accura won the Business of the Year Award at our last annual dinner in March of 2023!
-River Bend Retirement Community
River Bend offers independent and assisted living with customized individual care plans, as well as memory care for those that request or require additional support and services. Their spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments allow residents to make themselves at home by customizing their living area. At River Bend, their mission is to create a home-like environment for residents to enjoy a lifestyle that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality through excellence in service and quality care. Dr. Leslie Kremer and Dr. Kaitlyn Smith are pelvic health physical therapists specializing in pregnancy care and birth healing. We help moms maintain balance in their bodies during pregnancy to minimize pain and discomfort; have an easier, uncomplicated, lower intervention birth; and heal completely postpartum.
We are passionate about nurturing women on their journey through motherhood, and addressing all areas of your life that may impact recovery including rest, nutrition, and even processing the birth story.
-Rise Counseling & Consulting, PLLC
RISE Counseling & Consulting is a mental health group private practice, which established its first satellite clinic at 308 First Ave. W in Cascade. The group private practice was founded in December 2021 in Anamosa by Melissa Paulsen. The clinic provides mental health services for anyone who is at least 4 years old, generally serving people with trauma, stress or adjustment disorders using talk or play therapy.
The Cascade satellite clinic is staffed by two therapists, Bridget Kleitsch and Taylor Tittle. Clients also have access to four virtual therapists who serve all locations.
We offer individual, family, and couples mental health counseling as well as medication management services. We also offer consultation including trainings and speaking engagements.
